FINALLY, AFTER 10,000 YEARS, AN UPDATED AND REDONE VERSION OF DESIREE/LAVENDER'S BIO. i'm so proud i could cry. 

thank you zerostates for giving her profile pic its nice border!! and layout! and to everyone who helped me look over her bio. if you have any questions or anything needs clarified please feel free to ask. i love my dance baby and i think i've improved so much on how i draw her and i hope to do more with her story than i've previously been able to. and, yes, desiree's new nickname is LAVENDER! she and honey can be referred to as HONEYLAVENDER, but you may still call her Des/Desiree if you like!

Nickname: Lavender - This is her nickname among friends as well as her middle name. The origin of the nickname is mostly derived from the username she uses when posting photos of her Lolita dresses and cosplays, as well as her dance videos; LadyLavender. In addition, close friends and family will also refer to her as Des, Dezzie, or Rée/Rey.

Hobbies: She loves to make her cosplays and lolita dresses, and even occasionally takes commissions for them when she has the time. She also loves watching sci-fi movies, and knitting. And even if she's kind of bad at most, she really likes playing video games, such as Alien: Isolation and Mario Kart. She also loves to run her social media pages, instagram/twitter/tumblr, etc., to show off her moves and designs.

Career: Dance instructor.
Education: Public high school graduate, never went to college.

Appearance: Lavender has dark brown skin, dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. She stands at 5'10 and has a curvy, athletic body you'd expect of a dancer. She has a variety of pink flower tattoos down her left side and on her upper arm/shoulder. Her hair is in large, somewhat loose curls that fall just past her shoulders, with one particularly prominent curl in the middle of her forehead. She has big lips and a rather big nose, as well as a large bosom. Usually, she wears revealing clothes that show off her tattoos, in pinks and purples, sometimes yellows, greens and other spring colors. She almost NEVER wears straight black, and loves leg warmers. Her usual/athletic outfit is a pink sports bra/crop top, lavender colored exercise shorts, pink leg warmers and purple tennis shoes. She usually wears "natural" looking makeup, mostly eyeliner, a pink lipstick and some blush.

Personality: Lavender has a very easygoing and soft demeanor. On first impression, she's very relaxed and maybe even a bit of an airhead. She is forgetful, but understanding and has a very motherly personality. She is peaceful and someone easy to talk to, as she's understanding and good at giving advice. She's very social and hates being alone; she can be clingy because of this. She enjoys having friends and values relationships, whether they're romantic, platonic, or family, very dearly. She can be indecisive and clumsy. She dislikes conflict and avoids it when possible, and is anything but argumentative. Lavender can be very flirty. She is a romantic, though - she deeply values romantic connections, as stated. She is creative and often finds very out there, but effective ways of getting out of tough situations. She is an easy crier, even if something isn't all that sad or upsetting. She would give up almost anything instantly if her family or friends needed her. On very very rare occasions that she does get angry, she tends to feel bad about anything she may have said or done. If she hurts someone, she tries extremely hard to make it up to them. Lavender can be a bit... materialistic at times. She gets attached to material objects easily, especially if they have some sentiment attached to them. She is dreamy occasionally, and loves to think of the future or the universe and all it's possibilities. Despite her clumsiness and tendency to come off as an airhead, she does great when it comes to classwork. 

Bio: Lavender was born in the small Canadian Providence of Nova Lyons, the first child of her parents and a born performer from the start. Her mother worked as a dance instructor for her colleague's company and Lavender was preforming from a rather young age. Her father worked at the local elementary school and, shortly before the birth of her younger brother, passed away in a car accident on his way to work. The accident motivated her mother to move the family to San Fransokyo California, to be closer with her sister who lived in the area. She opened her own dance academy which became a quick success and allowed the family to get a good condo in a nice area and they were set. Lavender continued to be a competitive dancer up to graduating from high school, when she additionally became an instructor at her mother's academy. She currently lives in her own small apartment in San Fransokyo with her chinchilla, Usagi and her dog, Nyota. 

At a con a few years previous, she bumped into her future wife, Honey Lemon. After spilling out the contents of her purse and Honey returning her phone, the two bonded over their mutual interests and very soon began dating. Pretty soon after their two year anniversary, the two decided to get married, and after Honey graduated and became a chemist and professor, they got a house together, with plans in the future to start a family.

Fun Facts: 
• Lavender is a major sufferer of allergies. Because of this, she gets regular allergy shots and whatnot. One of her major allergies is pet dander. This is why she at first went for a chinchilla; it’s one of the few pets she has no negative reaction to. With regular allergy shots, she lives a fine life alongside her bedlington terrier, a hypo allergenic breed. However, she finds cats entirely intolerable. Not because she hates them, it’s actually very much the opposite. They drive her allergies crazy even with shots and medicine. Some of her other allergies include pollen, bees, smoke and, funny enough, Lavender oil. It makes her break out in a rash, but the plant itself doesn’t seem to bother her as badly.
• Unlike her little brother and cousins, she cannot speak Japanese fluently. She can read and understand most of it, but she finds writing and sentence structure difficult. However, she knows French fluently, and is in the process of learning Spanish. 
• Lavender is a lover of anything cute; animals, children, flowers... desserts, anything and everything.
• Lavender is far sighted, and needs glasses to read, write or sew. She carries a few pairs in her purse because she tends to lose them if she wears them in public... and sometimes even at home.
• She... isn't the best cook in the whole world. Really, she has a tendency to set foods on fire. The only thing she's ever been able to successfully make - that she makes regularly - is cookies, and hot tea. 
• Occasionally, she will use powders or sprays to temporarily dye her hair, mostly only the tips, and usually just for cosplays or conventions. Aside from her tattoos, she likes to keep a rather natural appearance so she has never actually, fully dyed her hair. 
• Not only does Lavender make lolita dresses, but she also cosplays. She's a big fan of sci-fi and girly/magical girl animes, so it's often characters from those. 
• Lavender has won several awards from local and Canadian dance competitions, and there are also a good amount of videos of her online. She has a little cabinet in her apartment where she keeps her trophies, and she's very proud of them. 
• Her social media has several thousand followers, mostly local SanFran residents and fellow dancers or cosplayers. Her username, normally, is: LadyLavender, inspired by her middle name as well as the name of the plant.

*A few notes/facts about Nova Lyons: It is a fictional Canadian Providence I created, because I wanted somewhere unique for Lavender to originate from. It's a coastal area known for its good seafood, architecture, love of the arts, movies, and up and coming video game development industry, as well as home of the headquarters of Canada's biggest news hosting company. Many people there are French speaking, or simply from France. Aboriginal, English, Scottish, Ethiopian, and Germans are also common ethnicities in Nova Lyons. Its main languages are English and French. I'm still developing it, so it's a WIP for now.
